Believe What You Will

(This is in response to the Picnic Drabble Challenge. It’s just a bit of fluff for fun. )

Kadyn crawled backwards out of the thicket, bumping into someone’s shins. He heard Vincent’s sigh of exasperation at the sight of his dishevelled Brat.

“I haven’t found them yet, Vince, but I’m not giving up.”

“How many times do I have to tell you? It was only a make-believe song your mother sang when you were a small child. Now, it’s getting late and we have to clean up from our picnic.”

Kadyn quietly obeyed. But no matter what Vincent thought, Kadyn chose to believe there really was such a thing as a Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

The End

This is Anne Murray's rendition of this childrens' song.
